The final look and condition of an interior painted wall is highly dependent on the condition of the drywall surface beneath it. Many people know how to hang and tape drywall; some know how to hang and tape drywall well; and even fewer know how to hang, tape, and paint drywall very well. Fortunately for our customers, we fall squarely in the latter category! A benefit of our years of experience in our field is that we've seen pretty much everything there is to see about drywall repairs. Over time, and especially in cases of constant exposure to moisture, walls can begin to buckle, and ceilings to sag and develop mold. No simple recoating with paint will do; one must get to the root of the problem. For us, that means cutting off or pulling down the affected sections; and prior to simply rebuilding your ceiling or wall, discovering the cause of the moisture and finding a solution. We'll work with you through this process, of course, as we understand that budgets have limits and you may have different expectations for your space than we might. Our talented teams will work to re-hang and tape your walls with new board, including using water-resistant (bathrooms, showers) or flame resistant (kitchens, fireplaces) sheets where it is necessary. Our firm grasp of local building codes is greatly useful at this point in the restoration process as well. We'll tape, recoat, sand, prime, and paint our way to a beautiful product at last, leaving you proud of the final result. Of course, on jobs where only a little patch is needed, we're able to complete that expediently as well, using faster-drying putties and patch techniques to reach the painting stage as quickly as possible.
